Tanganga has picked up a stress fracture to his back, making him unavailable for selection. Spurs fan favourite, Lo Celso, hasn't featured in any 'lockdown friendlies' and social media has been running crazily over his possible absence. Today, Jose confirmed he will be a doubt due to injury, but is hopeful he will play some part tomorrow. This will be decided tomorrow morning.
Whos banned?
Dele Alli has been suspended for 1 match by the FA over a social media post about coronavirus, making him unavailable for Friday night.
The FA have yet to make a decision on Eric Dier who jumped into the stands at the end of a match, climbing several rows to confront a fan, in March, against Norwich.
Looking good?
Spurs have lost their previous 3 matches against Manchester United.
But, heads up, the circumstances we find ourselves in makes this game a different match up... Both have had 100 days of no Premier League football, and are indeed going to look a bit rusty to start of with. Both teams also arrive with near 100% availability of players and have no fans cheering them on.
Did you know?
Tottenham have never won a competitive match in June, drawing 1-1 with Barnsley in the second tier in 1947, losing 0-2 against Luzern in the 1995 Intertoto Cup, and losing last seasons Champions League final against Liverpool.
Solid at home?
Spurs lost their last game at the Spurs stadium 3-2 against Wolves. The last time they lost back-to-back home league games was in January 2019, with those defeats, ironically, coming against Wolves and Manchester United.
Man Utd team news?
Solskjaer looks to have a fully fit squad on their first visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The manager has stated that "I don't think we can expect that those lads who've missed lots of football can last the full game", hinting at his likely use of the new 5 substitutes rule to protect players like Pogba, Bailly and Rashford.
