Spurs continue their excellent run of results with a clinically punishing performance against the Foxes who were dismantled in 45 minutes. Kane started the game brightly providing Son with a treat which the Korean took forward and scored via a deflection, and only ever improved with each passing minute. 2-0 was a delightful, well worked Spurs goal on the counter from Lo Celso and Lucas but before that could even be digested Kane bent in an absolutely outragoeus shot from out wide into the bottom right hand corner.
Player Ratings:
Lloris: 8.5
Some fantastic saves from Lloris displaying his reaction and diving ability to earn himself a clean sheet against a Leicester side who had 8 shots on target.
Davies: 7.5
A solid display from Ben who maintained Spurs defensive work in the second half to secure the win, having the most tackles (3) in the match
Toby Alderweireld: 7
Succeeded very well in his defensive duties, helping his skipper earn the clean sheet.
Davinson Sanchez: 7
Similar to Toby, Sanchez put in a trustworthy performance.
Serge Aurier: 6.5
For just being on the field, Serge must earn the upmost respect. Serge put in a decent performance but allowed Leicester to have a few chances down his side after repeated miscommunication with team-mate Lucas Moura.
Giovanni Lo Celso: 6.5
Proving to have a lot of fire in his game, Lo Celso was flying into challenges left right and centre. Despite being very positive in driving play upfield, Lo Celso lost the most duels in the match (9). Overall though, he can't be faulted as the drive to win was coursing through the Argentine's veins and that's something Spurs fan's always demand.
Harry Winks: 7.5
Winks was class in that first half, just sweeping up any lose balls and really controlling play in such a calm manner. Like Lo Ceslo, Winks had some fire about him today.
Moussa Sissoko: 6.5
It was a pretty standard Sissoko display and helped Spurs all over the pitch.
Heung Min Son: 7
A pacey threat going forward and had a huge part to play in that first goal earns Son a 7, who appears to be back to usual form after a slow start in the first couple of games post lockdown.
Harry Kane: 9.5 (Talking Tottenham MOTM)
Shooting. Passing. Positioning. Effort. Flare. When we say Kane is arguably one of the most rounded players in world football it is no lie. Pulling off some sublime passes all in the opposition half and having 100% shot accuracy, it was Kane performance that was deadly and really should be applauded.
Lucas Moura: 9
Lucas was a menace for Leicester this afternoon. He completed the most dribbles (3) in the match and put 2 assists to his name. HIs passing was almost immaculate from all ranges as well as his tackling, rounding off a great performance from a man who receives lots of criticism.
